What works, what to weigh

Strengths
3 reasons to book- Friendly, helpful staff — Multiple guests mention the warm welcome, early check-in assistance, and attentive service throughout their stay.
- Excellent central location — A short walk from Munich's main train station, with easy access to buses, trams, and the airport shuttle. Also within walking distance of sights like Marienplatz and Deutsches Museum.
- Comfortable and clean rooms — Rooms are described as compact but well-appointed, with comfortable beds, good heating, and daily housekeeping.
–
Worth weighing
3 to weigh- Rooms can be on the small side — Several guests note that standard rooms are compact, though they often add that the layout is clever enough to avoid feeling cramped.
- Some street-facing rooms may hear noise — While the hotel sits on a quiet street, rooms facing the street could still pick up some sound, and courtyard views are preferred for total calm.
- Facilities are basic — As a 3-star property, there's no gym or spa, and the facilities rating sits lower than other categories.

8.6Verified guest“The staff were exceptionally kind. We arrived at 12:15 hoping only to drop off luggage, but the receptionist found our room ready and let us check in three hours early. We were grateful after a long flight. The room was compact but had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Cleaning was spotless. Breakfast offered good variety in a cozy dining room, with friendly staff again. Location is excellent – quiet street, many hotels nearby, and close to the central station.”

8.6Verified guest“Excellent location and great value. Beautiful, clean room – small but so well thought out it didn't feel cramped. Warm, with soft blankets and two pillows on each bed, one for sleeping and one for hugging.”
8.6Verified guest“Location is perfect – near the airport bus stop and train station, about 25 minutes on foot to Marienplatz and 15–20 to the Pinakothek. Great public transport connections. There's a supermarket nearby, yet the hotel is on a quiet street. Clean room cleaned daily with fresh towels. My upgraded room was spacious. Breakfast was rich – always omelette, boiled eggs, sausages, cheeses, rolls, jams, muesli, yogurts, fruit, and coffee brewed to order.”
8.6Verified guest“Good food, neat updated room with good beds and a balcony. Super breakfast with lots of choices and pleasant staff. Very central, not far from a modern art museum.”
